Data Deletion

1. How to Delete Your Data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, log in to your Tippity account, navigate to the Settings page, and select Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm the deletion before it is processed. Once confirmed, your account and data will be scheduled for permanent removal.
2. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (name, email, password)
- Connected social media accounts and stored OAuth tokens
- All private analytics data (video metrics, audience demographics, engagement statistics)
- AI-generated content insights and recommendations
- Content groups and custom configurations
- Cached data and session information
3. What We Retain
After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including: billing and transaction records for tax and accounting compliance, and anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you. Any retained data is kept only for the minimum period required by applicable regulations.
4. Disconnecting Platforms Without Deleting Your Account
If you prefer to keep your Tippity account but want to remove data from a specific platform, you can disconnect individual social media accounts from the Settings page. Disconnecting a platform will revoke our access to that platform’s API and delete all analytics data associated with it. Your account and data from other connected platforms will remain intact.
You can also revoke Tippity’s access directly from each platform: Instagram (Settings → Apps and Websites → Active), YouTube / Google (Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access at myaccount.google.com/permissions), and TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security and login → Manage app permissions).
5. Deletion Timeline
Once you confirm account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible. Backups containing your data may persist for up to an additional 30 days before being purged through our regular backup rotation cycle.
